Personal Testimonies

In  the hand of God

On Monday, I left work about 5:15 p.m. I take the Merritt Parkway to get home, it's a two lane highway. I was driving in the slow lane behind a small black car that was truly getting on my nerves cuz they were driving super slow. I thought about getting in the left lane (fast lane) to pass this person so I could get home faster but something, which I know now was God, spoke to me and said "just chill ...take your time... it's a beautiful day". So I did. I was cruising in the slow lane thinking about nothing.

A few minutes later, in slow motion, I could see break lights all of a sudden. An SUV driving in the left lane also slammed on the brakes and to avoid rear ending the person in front of them, they pulled the wheel to the left but there was not shoulder so they slammed into the middle barrier and the car behind them crashed into them so the SUV went
airborne and started flipping. Simultaneously, cars in front of the SUV started crashing into each other in what turned out to be about an 8 car crash.. Some cars were totaled and either their front or back ends were smushed in. The SUV was upside down.

I pulled off to the side in shock and realized I was next car in line to crash.... But God spared me, my baby, and my car. A bunch of us called 911 and a couple of men checked on the SUV to see if they were okay. They were but they were also panicking a bit. After I drove past the wreckage, I was hysterical for second just thinking about how that could have been me and how God truly had mercy on us.

He will deliver

There was a moment in my life that would change my life forever. Little did I know while spending time with my father, this would be the last day we would spend together. As we were riding around enjoying one another like a father and daughter. As good friends talking about old times, we were nearing the time to depart from one another until he began to bleed profusely from his mouth and ears. Which totally brought fear upon me as never before.

Nevertheless I was able to call 911, and before their arrival, he began to pour out more blood as a fountain poureth out water. At this point, he passed out on the ground at which time the ambulance arrived to no avail. When he was placed in the vehicle his spirit was gone and he (died).
I was traumatized after this experience. My mind was in disarray, I did not know whether I were coming or going. All I can see before me is this terrible frightening event over and over again.

Finally, there came a time I remembered what my mother told me. She had said in the time of trouble, call on the name of Jesus, but at that time I did not know Jesus and did not understand what she meant by this. Nevertheless, I called on the name of Jesus anyhow, and not only did He heal my mind, but also he saved my soul and for this, I can truly give thanks to God.

I did not need no psychiatrist did not need no doctor but I just called on the name of Jesus and he heard my cry. Moreover, delivered me from all my fears and distress.

Hallelujah and I thank Him today for who he is in my life.
